Action Aid for Animals

Within our charity there are many volunteering opportunities.

A very important part of our work is to ensure that anyone applying to adopt a dog from us is suitable. This is in terms of the person/family themselves, their circumastances and their environment. Before an adoption is finalised a homecheck much be carried out. If you have experience with dogs then you can volunteer as a homechecker. You will be given any advice you need and will be given a homecheck form to follow.

Could you foster a Rescued Croatian or UK Dog/Cat?- To give for many the first time in their lives a loving caring home until we can find them their perfect forever home?

We are not saying being a foster carer is going to be all roses and daffodils, but we guarantee when you realise the amazing impact on a strays life you have had, it will be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life. Read More
